A file name tells you nothing. 'scan_0042.pdf' could be the certificate you asked for, last year's copy or a photo of the wrong page. Too often you only find out when you finally open it, and then you're chasing again.
Each upload gets green, amber or red with a short reason, like 'Policy number is there, but page 2 is blurred.' You know what needs a closer look before you open anything.

The things you'd check by eye: the type of document, dates, names, filled-in fields, signatures and whether it's readable. It can't tell you a document is genuine, look anything up on an outside register or verify someone's identity.
Yes. The short reason shows as soon as they upload, so they can send a better copy straight away. If a check can't run, the upload is still saved for you to look at.
Yes. Up to 50 checks a day for each customer, and 10 a day for each document or form question you ask for. Anything over that is saved for you to look at yourself.
